The wait is over—Ice Castles are back at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds for the 2026 season, celebrating 15 years of frozen magic! This beloved winter attraction, now the Official Ice Castle of the 140th Saint Paul Winter Carnival, invites guests to step into an awe-inspiring wonderland of ice and snow.
Immerse yourself in a whimsical, fairy-tale landscape filled with glittering ice caverns, twisting tunnels, towering sculptures, and frozen thrones. Guests can race down ice slides, explore decorated passageways, and marvel at breathtaking works of art crafted by internationally renowned ice sculptors.
New this season, the icy fortress debuts an ice river, snow caverns, and nightly fire shows, where flames dance dramatically against the frozen backdrop in a spectacular clash of fire and ice. Visitors can also enjoy a frosty ice bar, Minnesota State Fair–inspired treats, and plenty of photo-worthy moments beneath the glowing lights.
