Set against the stunning backdrop of the St. Croix River, the annual Rivertown Fall Art Festival is a beloved tradition held in historic downtown Stillwater, Minnesota. This fine art festival draws over 10,000 visitors each year from Minnesota, Western Wisconsin, and throughout the Midwest, celebrating creativity, community, and the beauty of autumn.
With more than 180-200 talented artists showcasing hand-crafted works across a wide variety of mediums—including ceramics, clay, culinary arts, drawing, fiber, glass, jewelry, metal, mixed media, painting, photography, pottery, wood, and more—the festival offers something for every art lover.
Beyond the art, attendees can enjoy a lively atmosphere complete with live music and entertainment, a beer & wine tent, and a delicious selection of food options. Just steps from the event, Stillwater’s bustling Main Street invites exploration with its charming art shops, galleries, boutiques, and restaurants.

Parking Information:
- The parking plan is centered on Main Street, where you will find free 30-minute parking in the core of downtown.
- To the west of Main Street, there is free 3-hour on-street parking and free 4-hour parking in public lots.
- To the east, between Main Street and the St. Croix River, there are paid on-street spaces as well as paid public lots.
- There is also have a paid public parking ramp one block west of Main Street.
