**SPECIAL FEATURE PROGRAM**
All About Eagles! Presented by the National Eagle Center, Wabasha, MN
There are few sightings more majestic than watching a bald eagle ride the summer thermals. And people are now seeing more of these birds because their populations have increased dramatically. From 2009 to 2020 the bald eagle population in the lower 48 states quadrupled to 316,700 individual bald eagles according to the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. Although these numbers are encouraging, the experts from the National Eagle Center say there is more we can do to guarantee these great birds continue to thrive in our ever changing environment. Naturalists from the National Eagle Center will be on hand to answer questions and provide information and educational materials on what cabin owners and all others can do to assure these magnificent birds of prey flourish for generations to come. The group will also be giving presentations featuring live eagles each day on the Northwoods Stage. The “All About Eagles” presentation times are Friday – 4 & 6 p.m., Saturday – noon, 2 & 4 p.m. and Sunday – 11 a.m. & 1 p.m.
